Digital Analytics & Insights Lead, Bupa Global

Bupa Global have been on a journey over the past 3-4 years maturing our digital analytics framework, we are now at a stage where implementation is on-going but more importantly the need to produce insights from our analytics to drive better outcomes is vital.

You will be key to driving the right conversations in product and experience design using data driven decisions, you will also be key to bringing to life the experiences which our customers and prospects have online (and to a degree offline).

Technical and strategic knowhow will be key in succeeding in this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to establish and build common KPIs and reporting mechanisms which empower the functions and enable autonomy
  • Support the promotion of a data driven culture within Marketing and the wider business
  • To deliver and  own the end-2-end reporting framework and to deliver best in class ROI/CPA based reporting frameworks
  • To manage a team of two and their associated pipeline of work in both a reactive and proactive state
  • Deliver data driven insights and optimisation recommendations to commercial teams
  • Develop a KPI matrix to each part of the sales funnel (Drive, Engage, Convert)
  • Periodically review the implementations of Bupa Global web analytics toolsets for possible enhancement opportunities.
  • To manage our 3rd party analytics partners and agencies
  • Be the go-to expert in all areas of analytics (paid, owned, earned, advanced analytics, ROI analytics)
  • Lead site-wide analytics initiatives to serve the most pressing needs of the broader business, often requiring cross-functional engagement, creativity and an aptitude for translating complex analysis into actionable insights.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Preferred client-side digital data & analytics implementation and management experience although open to agency/consultant
  • Strong track record of delivering insights and optimisation recommendations to wider teams with tangible results
  • Strong organisation skills with a very high attention to detail
  • Good with communications and presentation skills with excellent story telling capabilities
  • Experience working across: Adobe, Google Analytics, Tealium, Decibel, Responsetap, Sitecore or similar tools
  • Technical know-how is critical as you will be required to review and if needed, manage implementations through with your team
  • Self-motivated and highly flexible and committed to do what’s needed with own initiative
