Position: Chef De Partie

Salary: £10,00 PH

Cuisine: Modern British seafood restaurant

Hours: 45

Shift pattern: 2 Doubles, 3 single on average

Days: 5 out of 7

Team Size: 16 Chefs

Daily Covers: Up to 200

Duties:

90% Kitchen service/Cooking/MEP/ Managing section

10% Admin/Stock control/Ordering/Working with Head Chef

My client is a well-established 2 Rosette restaurant Boasting uninterrupted views of the Brighton seafront and iconic West Pier ruins. A modern British seafood restaurant that celebrates cooking over coal. Winner of the Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2017, their seaside restaurant is the best restaurant in Brighton to enjoy sustainable, local produce. On offer are a seasonal a la carte menu, afternoon tea menu, and an excellent value lunch and pre theatre menu. An innovative drinks list can also be enjoyed in our cocktail bar and with your meal.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef and the team. You should be creative and passionate- able to work to high-volumes and keep calm under pressure. You will be a Chef that is keen to develop themselves and work hard to achieve their goals. My client values a great attitude and willingness to learn above anything else!

  • Ideally you will have been a Chef De Partie for a year
  • Have a great foundation in the basics of cooking
  • Have a fantastic work ethic and attitude
  • Be confident in working in a large team
  • Experience in high volume fresh food is a must!
  • Consistently wanting to learn new skills, there is no room for egos in this kitchen

Working within a successful and highly regarded organisation, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a focused and growing business that is confident in its ability. You will work, 45 Hours a week on average - and will generally be working 3 straight shifts and 2 doubles. Your progression to a more Senior Role, within the group, will be actively encouraged and a willingness to learn and grow into the role will see you quickly progress through the ranks.
