Quality Inspector / CMM Inspector Position Overview

Manual inspection using a variety of hand tools (Vernier, Calliper, Depth Gauge, Height gauge, Micrometre)
Inspect parts across the production department ensuring specifications are met
Reporting Faults to the Manufacturing team to maintain high quality standards
Operate CMM machinery
Program CMM machinery CMM - training can be provided for this.
Entering details onto the database system
First off approval, batch and final inspections
Housekeeping of workstation areas
Compliance with health & safety requirements

Quality Inspector / CMM Inspector Position Requirements

Previous experience in a manual inspection role within a manufacturing environment
Experience operating & programming CMM machinery in a professional manufacturing environment is advantageous
Experience programming Faro arm is advantageous
Strong engineering background and keen to progress over time
Excellent communication skills at all levels including management and customers
Full UK driving licence
Based within a commutable distance of Brighton

Quality Inspector / CMM Inspector Position Remuneration

£24,000 - £28,000 per Annum depending on experience
Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hour week)
20 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
