As the Senior Full Stack Engineer within this major international corporate, you will deliver both hands-on & technical leadership across the CMS aspects of the technology stack and use your effective problem-solving skills.

As part of this Group function, responsible for the high profile web presence of the business globally, the Senior Full Stack Engineer will:

- Implement and champion agile technical practices; TDD, Continuous Integration/Delivery, pair programming, refactoring, emergent design etc.
- Introduce modern tooling as appropriate to optimise the delivery time-scale and quality of the software product
- Apply expert knowledge in design workshops, utilise emergent design and architectural principles and patterns to produce well-engineered solutions
- Participate and contribute to all relevant agile ceremonies; planning, estimation, show & tells and retrospectives
- Work with analysts to interpret high level requirements for complex, large scale initiatives and transform them into user stories
- Work in a collaborative, sharing, open, transparent way
- Coach and mentor team members in regards to programming, technology and working practices
- Escalate complex challenges, issues and risks as well as proposing mitigating actions
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying and championing practical means of reducing time to market while maintaining high quality products

Skills Required

- Full stack experience including modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue or similar
- Knowledge of building & implementing major websites & web services with hands on experience of CMS an added advantage
- Automation testing tools such as Protractor, Puppeteer, Cypress.io
- Source code management - e.g. Git
- CI/CD
- Workflow; versioning, branching, merging, pull requests
- Agile working practices - Scrum, Kanban

Useful Experience:

Web Security, Developing for accessibility, working in a DevOps environment, Cloud based infrastructure, e.g. AWS, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, e.g. Jenkins
Good Customer awareness with a supportive, communicative and collaborative approach to working in a team.
An understanding of the different drivers and needs of internal customers, distributors and partners
