Red Flag Recruitment are currently seeking a qualified Chef to join our client’s friendly team in Littlehampton.

We are searching for a highly skilled, energetic, highly motivated candidate who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and executing a menu with a strong perspective, attention to detail and quality, and tons of flavor. Equally important is skills and passion for leading, organising, and inspiring culinary teams on a high level.

Responsibilities of a Chef:

  • Manage the day to day running of kitchen.
  • Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and guest demand.
  • Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
  • Resolve guest problems and concerns personally.
  • Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies.
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently

Working Days: Weekdays and some weekends – Part time working hours.

Salary: £10.89/hr – Weekly pay.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Previous Chef experience from hotel/restaurant a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in cooking and understanding corresponding Health and Safety Food laws.
  • Excellent references required from previous employers.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and dedication to responsibilities.
  • Flexible work schedule.
