Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Musculoskeletal (MSK) Speciality

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join the Medicines Management team within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT). We are looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist who is a team player with a 'can do' attitude and a focus on continuous quality improvements.

The post holder will be responsible for leading and delivering specialist pharmacy support to the MSK services across SCFT and to the Sussex MSK Partnership Central Service. For the post holder there is an opportunity of a new role to be part of a pain/opioid reduction management clinic.

In addition the post holder will manage and lead on the delivery of clinical pharmacy services and medicines management support for the Trust's intermediate care units (adult inpatient beds) and clinics within the East area.

This Senior Clinical Pharmacist post may suit somebody who is clinically confident and possible already a Band 8a and who is looking to develop their managerial responsibilities and leadership skills further by taking on line management responsibilities for a small team.

The position will be based at Brighton General Hospital.

Experience in providing pharmaceutical information and advice within MSK and of being a part of multidisciplinary teams involved in patient care is desirable.
