Housekeepers – Part Time

Red Flag Recruitment are seeking part time Housekeepers to join a friendly cleaning company based in Steyning, West Sussex.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining high standards of extensive cleanliness and sanitation throughout the premises.

Flexible days: Weekdays and some weekends

Hours: 7.30am - 2.00pm

Salary: £8.21/hr – Weekly pay

Duties & Responsibilities of a Housekeeper:

• Assist in promoting company loyalty by engaging in exceptional customer service to all guests and staff.
• Interact with guests by answering questions, providing information, greeting guests, and assisting whenever possible.

• Follow the required procedures for dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and polishing fixtures.
• Maintain stock of cleaning materials and equipment needed to complete duties.
• Notify management of supplies needed or equipment requiring maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
• Keep all chemicals in correct assigned areas.

Experience Required of a Housekeeper:

• Minimum 1-2 years Housekeeping/Cleaning experience preferred.
• Own transport is required due to the location of the premises.
• Ability to work fast and efficiently and complete multiple tasks under pressure.
• Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usage.
• Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene.
• Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional manner.
