Job Duties

  • Support the development and delivery of a powerful digital vision to optomise the online customer experience in order to help achieve performance against profit, sales volume and targets, ensuring expense allocations are appropriate to book size & level of activity, and fall within budget
  • Use insight to gain a deep understanding of the digital needs and wants of our key audiences. Manage the evaluation and analysis of data, using this to interpret and predict technology trends, reporting on this and adjusting plans accordingly
  • Engage with business functions (Distribution, Operations & Head of DC Client Communications) to understand their priorities to support the creation and prioritisation of the backlog
  • Develop close working relationships with the key internal departments across LGIM, including, Digital Operations, Distribution, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure that developments are implemented efficiently and that business objectives are met. As well as ensuring that internal relationships operate in a smooth and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively with cross-functional teams. Working closely with the Digital operations, Marketing Services & Approvals team to develop motivating online experiences & messaging and to deliver integrated campaigns that meet L&G standard & policies including TCF
  • Define, agree and work within the appropriate budget required to achieve plans, particularly focusing on opportunities for cost efficiencies
  • Input into the transformation of our group digital vision & products to grow broader pension awareness and consideration of LGIM as well as the group brand team

Skills:

  • Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable for example  CIM, IDM, UX/UI
  • Graduate Calibre
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar digital role is essential, Experience of working within a similar FS industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience of successful digital delivery and product management
  • Experience of digital journey optimisation
  • A strong understanding of, and passion for, digital
  • Good understanding and proven track record of online transactional platforms that have driven demonstrable business results
  • Significant understanding of agile methodologies and solid experience of managing across teams to drive digital excellence.
  • Robust general knowledge of the pension market and emerging trends in consumer behaviours.
  • Experience of developing and managing insight led customer online journeys and plans across a portfolio of services, products and brands, preferably within Financial services
  • Excellent understanding of the latest methods of measuring and optimising digital investments to drive sustainable profitable growth
  • Solid understanding of the risk and regulatory environment in which the financial services industry operates and the impact it has on digital strategy, propositions and communications
  • Strong networking, influencing and relationship management skills with the ability to clearly communicate and influence at all levels
  • A genuine passion for the customer which is demonstrated through all team outputs
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage and optimise budgets
  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment where your work is critical to the company's long term success
