THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

To lead and drive on-going improvements in quality performance of TBS Subcontractors, with the objective of consistently delivering products that conform to the required safety and legal standards, product specifications, product definition and Brand expectations; through analysing all Quality data, defining action plans, supporting implementation and analysing the results. To support new product (NPD) & transferred Product first Productions, by providing support both to TBS Product Development teams and Subcontractors. To utilise a robust, clear and structured problem solving methodology using Lean manufacturing tools for all Quality investigations. To also support the QA manager in the completion of the supplier audit programme.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

• Carry out product quality investigations and drive corrective actions (New & Transferred Products).
• Apply Quality tools to solve problems and improve products and processes.
• Contribute to the QA supplier status & improvement programme.
• Support the QA manager in the completion of the supplier audit programme.
• Carry out subcontractor on-boarding.
• Projects - Collaboratively engage and support strategic quality projects when required.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Production and Quality knowledge within the Cosmetic or similar Industry
• Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of problem solving tools and investigative process
• Auditing experience desirable
• People engagement and communication skills
• Project management skills
• Equivalent level of relevant experience
• Educated to degree level (preferably Science, Engineering, Lean, Production or similar)

LOCATION
Our Head Office “Home of The Body Shop” is located in the heart of Littlehampton, West Sussex. On site there is a state of the art distribution centre, conference centre, a 1950’s ‘Uncle Fred’s Diner’, a nursery and an onsite allotment area for staff.
