Sales Executive

Please note this role does involve travel.
Key responsibilities & tasks:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new customers.
* Demonstrations and recommendation of products to clients at meetings
* Upselling & Cross Selling into existing clients
* Interpret customer requirements and assist the team with quotations for customers
* Maintain and develop close relationships with customers and a knowledge of their business requirements with a view to selling products.
* Process customer orders and maintain customer files
* Allocate stock to projects orders on arrival from suppliers
* Maintain the customer database
* Arrange customer visits and demonstrations
* Answering any incoming calls and assisting with general enquiries.
* Completing any additional paperwork and reports as and when required.
* Attend exhibition stands when required.
Key skills:
* Previous sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets
* A strong technical understanding of products is desirable
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
* Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM or similar.
* Organisation skills
* Ability to prioritise a heavy workload
* Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Thrive from a challenge and have a can-do attitude.
* Attention to detail.
* Be outgoing and enthusiastic with the drive and passion to succeed.
* Driving License
