Your new company

A leading healthcare company, who work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical companies to provide a huge range of care services to patients in the comfort of their own home, at their place of work or in the community. You will be working at the forefront of these services, providing oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes as well as within a mobile clinic setting.

Your new role

The role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more. The focus is on clinical excellence, so you will be given all the support and flexibility you need to spend quality time with your patients and provide them with the best kind of 1-2-1 care. This includes working in partnership with other cancer organisations to ensure patients receive the very best experience we can offer. Although you will be working independently in the community, you will remain very much part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues.

What you'll need to succeed

You have excellent organization skills and an ability to work with autonomy as you will be responsible for managing your own workload while providing 1-2-1 care. You'll be travelling between patients throughout the day, so a full UK driving license is essential. You must have an NMC PIN and a qualification in administering systemic anti-cancer therapy (including cannulation and venepuncture competency and experience of administering all routes of anti-cancer therapy).

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a competitive salary and industry leading range of benefits, including a fully expensed company car, personal pension plan and a flexible schedule that does not involve any evening or weekend work.
