Job Details
Successful Garage Door distribution and installation company seeks an experienced Credit Controller for a challenging, hands on role. This is a great opportunity to play a key part in the small but busy finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the credit control function as well as working alongside the Finance Department. You will be the first point of call for any customer account and payment queries.
Responsibilities will include
- Debt Chasing
- Process and allocate account customer payments
- Other morning banking processes
- Reconciliations
- Customer Queries
- Account hold letters
- Send out customer statements in line with our internal schedules
- Review sales ledger for unallocated payments
- Credit Searches
- Opening new Accounts
Essential Skills/Competencies
- Confident working style
- Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to Work in a Team Environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised
Desirable
- Experience dealing with tradesmen
- Sage 200 and/or Sage 50 experience desirable but training will be provided
Capital Garage Doors are wholesale distributors of garage doors, spares, automation and accessories. We deliver garage doors nationwide with free local delivery and provide a full garage door fitting service in the South East. We are based in the leading Manor Royal Business district offering excellent transport links to Gatwick Airport, M23 and the M25.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week, preferably 9am – 3.00pm
