Job Details

We are looking for a PA / Operations Coordinator to support a really busy Operations Manager in Shoreham-by-Sea.

This role is a new position and we need you to apply if you can think on your feet, be super-efficient and able to make decisions on behalf of this Director.

Your main duties will include;

  • Organising staff overtime
  • Ensuring the staff rots are in place
  • Expenses & approvals
  • Managing annual leave/sick leave support
  • Diary management and dealing wit travel arrangements
  • Meeting management
  • Monitoring emails
  • Writing up key meeting minutes, actions and follow up
  • Preparations for Board and Group Operations meetings, including putting together presentations on PowerPoint
  • Escalations to management of issues
  • Delegation of Director actions to direct reports

You will also be supporting the 150 employees within Operations by:

  • Handling all team engagement & communications
  • Change management e.g. managing the communication and training on new processes
  • Nomination and selection for the management team on who should be awarded prizes such the Above & beyond award
  • Easter and Christmas staff planning
  • Coordinating monthly performance review cycle
  • Social diary management and team bonding events
  • Team Administration e.g. uniforms management
