The Place

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa with 2 Award winning restaurants, Reflections Restaurant (2 Rosettes x 60 covers), AG’s Restaurant (3 Rosettes x 35covers) together with a range of conference and banqueting and private dining rooms catering for 8 to 95 guests.

Join our team of 18 Chefs creating award winning dishes across a range of fresh menu choices. Our Kitchen Brigade creates dishes for our 3 Rosette AG’s Restaurant, 2 Rosette Reflections Restaurant as well as our Banqueting, Room Service and Lounge operations.

We have a number of opportunities including working within pastry, 2 Rosette Reflections or our fine dining 3 Rosette AG’s Restaurant.

The Role

• Working with a team of 18 chefs and 5 Kitchen Porters
• See our website for the full range of menu choices being created
• Flexible shifts covering breakfast, lunch, dinner service including weekend working (5 days per week)
• Quality experience in a fresh food environment
• The passion and drive to contribute to the future success of the kitchen brigade who continue to develop award winning dishes

Requirements

• Experience and passion for creating rosette standard dishes from fresh local ingredients
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Experience within a quality hotel kitchen environment
• Team player with an ability and desire to contribute and support junior team members to develop and achieve
• Excellent eye for detail and able to deliver consistent standards

£19,000 to 23,000 per annum
