If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operational Manager to lead the delivery of the Child Development Service at Seaside View Child Development Centre (CDC) at Brighton General Hospital, within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT).

The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and healthcare to children and young people with physical and neurological developmental needs. The service includes Community Paediatricians, Therapists, Audiologists, Specialist Nurses, Psychologists and Administrators who work within the CDC and other community settings including schools and children and young people's homes.

It is an exciting time to join the Child Development Service, as this is a time of additional investment and service redesign along a number of clinical pathways. The successful applicant would lead the delivery of these improvements both locally within Brighton and Hove, but also for assigned projects across SCFT.

The General Manager is a key member of the Area Management Team with overall responsibility for the delivery of effective, facilitative business and operational leadership across a defined set of services. The post holder would be responsible for the delivery of all performance metrics and KPIs (quality, operational and financial) targets within their services, proactively identifying exceptions and developing remedial plans with service leaders and clinicians. The post holder will also be involved in business case development, report writing, contracts and data analysis.

It is essential that throughout the delivery of the above the post holder exhibits behaviours which reflect the Trust's values, and supports the development of a positive Trust culture.
