Job Title: Van Sales Assistant

Are you a confident Salesperson with knowledge of the Automotive industry? You will use either a 3.5, 7.5 or 13 tonne 'mobile showroom' (Van) as a key sales tool and take the products directly to the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver national account customer orders within the parameters of the service level agreement for each
• Assist the warehouse team to ensure the warehouse runs efficiently.
• Follow the company's internal administration systems and procedures with regard to, ordering stock, opening new customer accounts and customer payment matters.
• Maintain a professional and safe warehouse and mobile showroom interior and exterior.
• Follow procedures to ensure the security of the depot and mobile showrooms.
• Drive all vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, in line with the requirements of the Highway Code and the Driving at Work section of the company's Health and Safety Handbook.
• Assist with stock takes as required.
• Attend product courses and regional sales meetings.
• Provide cover for Field Sales Representatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a customer focussed role e.g. retail sales or customer service
• Automotive industry related knowledge and/or experience
• Strong customer service skills; good listening and positive attitude
• Organising, planning and time management skills
• Practical and hands-on with a preference for working outdoors/on the road
• Good computer skills (MS Office)
