Hire Manager
The Role:
Working for a leading Plant and Tool equipment rental company, our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join an outstanding team. You will be working as Hire Manager, working with colleagues to achieve a high standard of service to clients & contractors. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Tool Hire / Trade Counter environment, and be situated in Crawley or the surrounding area.
This is a full time, permanent position and is available with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
As Hire Manager your job role will include:
- Building lasting relationships with repeat customers
- Taking on and off hire calls
- Organising transport
- Raising contracts on bespoke IT system
- Organised, able to prioritise workload
- Filing / admin tasks
- Resolve customer queries / complaints
- Undertake other duties as required
Skills & Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the Hire Manager vacancy will have:
- Previous experience in one or more of the following roles: Hire Assistant; Hire Desk Co-ordinator; Rental Manager; Hire Controller; Senior Hire Controller; Hire Manger; Assistant Manager, Assistant Branch Manager
- Great telephone manner
- Strong commitment to deliver excellent customer service
- Organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
- Full UK drivers licence
