We are looking for a highly organised, bright and confident person to join our team to be responsible for developing and running our extensive and exciting programme of events.

This job is for someone who likes to crack on and get things done, likes meeting new and interesting people and who can use their creative side to design events that will help our members to connect, learn from each other and grow their businesses.

The Chamber is the central hub for businesses in the city and our membership is growing. We run 100 events a year including the annual Brighton Summit for 400 businesses and we ‘pop-up’ at the Spiegeltent in Brighton Fringe.

You’ll probably (but not necessarily) have experience of organising and managing events. But you will need lots of energy, a keen eye for detail, be able to use your initiative when choosing speakers and helping to market the events, and to work well even with competing pressures.

The position is full-time (with a six-month probationary period). The salary is £24,000 - £26,000 p.a. depending on experience.
