Field Service Generator Engineer, (Power Generation, M&E Engineer)

Generator Engineer, Generator Service Engineer, M&E Engineer (field based) is required to join a market leading manufacturer.

You will be working on Power Generator Service, Installation projects, 40 hours week, paid door to door, with significant overtime (paid double time), with a realistic OTE £50-70k dependent on hours. There is also ongoing training, annual salary reviews based on skills ability, with career development support and an ongoing training academy to develop each Engineer, within a team of 40+ engineers.

Role:

As a Service Generator Engineer, you will be field based covering the South East region, you could be based anywhere and will be paid door to door! 40 hours a week plus overtime!

This is a genuinely rare opportunity, as a Power Generator Service Engineer, to join marketing leading manufacturer, who will look after you, provide full training, ongoing support, career progression, all your kit, uniform, van, and overtime and food allowance! Base salary £30,000 - £37,000 DOE + £45-70k OTE (double pay, depending on hours worked)

Typically you will work a similar patch for a week.

You will be repairing, or servicing Generators or providing maintenance or commissioning/installations.

If you have worked on Generator products, or for a Generator Manufacturer, or IT Data centre power solutions for Daikin, Emerson. Vertiv, Mitsubishi or similar apply now!

You will:

• Undertake standard service activity's including load bank & building load test proving, major & minor diesel servicing.
• Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis.
• Fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
• Installation of temporary generating plant.
• Commissioning of generator installations.
• Identify opportunities for extra works (SQD) & recommendations.
• Completion and submission of relevant reports to service administration within a timely manner following all site activity.
• Comply with all Company Health and Safety Requirements and International Trade Compliance regulations...

Experience:

To apply for the role, you need to have experience with generators, and hold a relevant qualification - Level 2/3 or both in an Electrical or Mechanical Discipline, ideally or a Power Generator Engineer with time served, who wants further training.

• Previous experiences within the generator stand by power or related industry.
• National Level 3 qualification in either an electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Experience of Electrical and Mechanical fault finding & rectification.
• Experience in a field operations role.
