A Lead Software Engineer with a strong background involving development on Windows and Linux in C++ is sought by an established Technology Company in East Sussex. Salary to £50/55K + benefits.

The successful Lead Software Engineer will ensure that software quality commitments are met, managing the software development life cycle as well as leading and encouraging continuous improvement of the team’s delivery. This hands-on role will allow you to spend time on development activities once primary management responsibilities have been met.

Essential Requirements include:
• A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical subject.
• Proven experience of the full software lifecycle.
• Proven team management experience.
• Several years’ experience of development on Windows and Linux in C++.
• Also good to have exposure to web services technologies and database design.
