Position: Junior Graphic Designer and Marketer

Department: Marketing

Responsible to: Marketing Manager

Salary: £19,000 - £25,000 pa (depending on experience)

Location: Newhaven (East Sussex)

We are currently recruiting for our client for a Junior Graphic Designer and Marketer.

They are global independent designer and manufacturer of innovative soap, paper and chemical dispensing systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer/ Marketer to take on a broad range of design and marketing activities. The successful candidate will design all traditional and digital marketing materials and support the marketing team on delivering marketing projects.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The role will primarily include to work as part of the marketing team to design marketing material for online and print. As well as creating content and campaigns for social media, PPC adverts, product videos and email marketing campaigns.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Work collaboratively as part of our marketing team

* Design an array of marketing materials including but not limited to brochures, magazines, flyers, digital banners

* Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media including infographics

* Create technical documentations such as instruction manuals and technical data sheets

* Support the marketing team throughout campaigns and projects

* Support the marketing team in planning and running of events and exhibitions

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Competent in using Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

* Professionalism, diligence and quality focus

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to capture and edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro would be desirable

Education/Qualifications

* Degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)

Skills/Abilities

* Competent in using Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

* Professionalism, diligence and quality focus

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge/Experience

* Minimum one year experience in graphics design and a B2B marketing environment (preferred)

* Experience in creating technical documentation

DESIRABLE CRITERIA (Non-essential)

* Experience working for a manufacturing business

* Previous experience in working in a technical products environment

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM system

* Working knowledge of video editing software e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro CC

* Knowledge of SEO, UX, CMS and social media

* 2nd language
