Based at Brighton and / or Worthing Campuses (but will be required to work at all main campuses)

GB Met is the largest provider of Access to Higher Education courses in Sussex offering level 3 pathways in Health, Science, Media, Social Sciences, Humanities, Computing and Business. Our provision is rated 'good' and more than 90% of our students progress to undergraduate courses at university. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a new or existing manager to lead and motivate a large group of students and staff, cross College, to achieve their full potential.  You will be responsible for managing the  performance of teams through the undertaking of  appraisals, probationary reviews, return to work meetings, absence review meetings, and the setting of performance targets in line with College policies,  procedures and targets.

You will require a high level of professional specialist sector/subject knowledge, and experience of delivering  at least one of the sector subject specialisms offered within the Access to HE area of responsibility (English, Media, Humanities, Computing, Business, Social Sciences, Science)

An academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area is essential, as is a recognized teaching qualification.
