What is an Apprenticeship?
An Apprenticeship is a workplace training programme. It includes a majority of on-the-job training and additional classroom learning. Apprentices earn a salary and gain real work experience, whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification. These can be taken by school and college leavers or internal existing staff members. Funding is available for staff between 16-24 years of age.
