Remember Martlets as you spring-clean

If you are having a declutter as you spring-clean, remember to pass on any saleable clothing, furniture or homeware to local charity Martlets.

The hospice sells your generous donations through its nine shops and its Hove warehouse to raise funds that allow it to care for its patients and their families.

Ian Hart from the Hospice’s Retail team said, “We’re a charity so we rely on donations of high-quality saleable items for our shops.

“Thanks to the kindness of the people of Brighton and Hove, our shops are well known locally for being the first stop for people wanting to buy the very best preloved clothes and homeware. We often have unusual, one-off pieces that you just can’t find anywhere else.

“So, as you clear out your cupboards, declutter those drawers or sort out that storage please think of Martlets.

“We’d be very grateful for your donations.”

If you have furniture or larger items you’d like to donate, Martlets will collect them free of charge, at the driver’s discretion. Simply email trading@martlets.org.uk or call 01273 721188 to arrange a pickup.
