Apprenticeships have different entry requirements, however the most important requirements are:
- You must be living in England and be aged 16+
- You must not be in full time education.
- If you don’t have good grades in GCSE English and maths you will need to take a literacy and numeracy test.
Q Do I get paid during an Apprenticeship?
Yes, you do. The National Minimum Wage for apprentices is now £3.30 per hour. As skills develop, many employers tend to increase wages; research has shown that apprentices earn an average of £170 net pay per week.
