Eclypse Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a senior registered general nurse for an elderly nursing home in Horsham, West Sussex. The home provides high quality nursing and residential care for the elderly and is part of a large, well-respected care group with a number of homes across the UK. The home is currently rated 'Good' across all areas by the CQC.

The Role

The home manager is seeking a registered general nurse to cover 40 hours on a mixture of day and night shifts. As the Senior Nurse on shift you will work as a hands on clinical leader for residents with a range of mental and physical nursing needs. As a senior member of the multi-disciplinary team you will lead and support junior members of the team to ensure clinical standards are consistently high and that the needs of the residents are always put first.

The Person

We are seeking a nurse qualified candidate with the following:

• RGN qualified
• Current Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
• Mentoring or supervision qualification
• Experience of producing care plans
• A desire to work in a nursing home environment

Salary

The hourly rate on offer is up to £19.50 per hour dependant on experience. The hours available are 40 hours per week on mixed shifts, this would equate to £40,560 per annum.
