Vacancy Description

We are recruiting for a Hospitality apprentice to work within our takeaway Greek stand. Located in a prime position outside Churchill Square, the Apprentice will be serving high quality Greek food in a busy environment.  

The successful candidate will be friendly, hardworking, adaptable, flexible and works well under pressure.

The role will include;

  • Serving customers
  • Taking orders
  • Preparing and cooking food
  • Preparing and cooking food for a delivery service
  • Serving drinks
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Keeping the van clean and tidy (very high hygiene standards)
  • Adhering to health and safety 
  • Level 2 Hospitality qualification with The Met College, Brighton

About Brighton MET (formerly City College Brighton and Hove)

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.

The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16 year olds leaving school, full and part time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university degrees. The MET operates across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing and teaches around 3,500 16-18 year olds, 7,500 adult learners, 1,000 undergraduates and 800 apprentices.
