Vehicle Paint Sprayer - Are you an experienced Vehicle Paint sprayer from the Automotive industry? Do you have experience working in a Bodyshop or accident repair centre?

If so, we have a permanent opportunity for an experienced automotive vehicle paint sprayer who has a solid background as a paint sprayer within the accident repair industry.

My client are a leading insurance owned vehicle repair company who have multiple locations around the UK. They offer fantastic working conditions and offer excellent working conditions, as well as state of the art equipment.

The role is working 4 days a week on a late shift from 2pm – Midnight and offers a 20% salary uplift.

Job Details: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / ATA Painter

·Experience of working in the accident repair industry - Spraying the full vehicle 

·Mixing of own colours 

·Mix and match paint by eye or by using computer technology to ensure correct colour match 

·Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats 

·Touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles 

·Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork 

·Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals. 

·Paint spraying the entire vehicle 

·Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas. 

·Must be comfortable in a painting environment

·You must have experience as a vehicle paint sprayer to be successful in this role

·Ideally you will be ATA qualified

Job Experience: The Successful Vehicle Paint Sprayer will have:

·Experience of working and spraying cars in an accident repair or bodyshop environment

·Experience as a vehicle paint sprayer

·Water based paints experience is essential

·Able to use spray guns

·Able to work in a fast paced, and targeted environment

·Industry qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and ideally ATA qualified
