Java Or Scala Developer

Join a Digital Transformation Leader who are looking for a Java or Scala Developer to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team, participate in all aspects of project execution and produce innovative digital solutions.

The Java or Scala Developer will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of programming and back-end software development, specifically Scala or Java8, and have experience using these technologies.

In this role the Java/Scala Developer will help contribute to the construction and operation of digital services, while also contributing to the Java community.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• The ability to implement modern front-end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, REST, and JSON.

• A strong understanding of automated testing solutions and agile methodologies.

• Aptitude of relational and non-relational database systems.

You will also be cross trained in Scala and allowed to use this skill on a regular basis alongside Java as well as providing a phenomenal working environment working with a first class tech team.
