Solutions Architect

On the south coast, just along from Brighton is the deceptively large head office of a cutting-edge software solutions provider whose market leading products are utilised across multiple industries.

With the support of a technical team (developers, testers, product owners and alike) you’ll be spearheading the design and development of new product solutions, particularly involving app virtualisation and cloud technologies. You’ll take the time to understand customer and business requirements and craft them into tangible solutions. You’ll become an expert on their existing product suite and be able to address the limitations of products and offer valuable suggestions and improvements.

This Solution Architect opening is brand new for their business; so, you’ll have the opportunity to mould the role based on your experiences whilst working extremely closely with the senior management team. In addition to a background in previous solution architecture appointments you’ll need to be able to demonstrate;

• Experience of cloud-based technologies – AWS / Azure
• App Virtualisation – (Hyper-V, App-V, Citrix)
• Awareness of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent requirements gathering / client facing skills

Although this role is new within the business, you’ll have the support of a collaborative technical team and a Senior Leadership team who all have a strong technical background. The opportunities for growth within this role are readily available and you’ll have the opportunity to shape your chosen career direction through Senior appointments or more managerial routes.

This role has a salary available up to £90,000 and a benefits package that includes 25 days holiday and a bonus scheme.
