The Communications and Engagement Team helps the Trust to have better conversations with a wide range of audiences. This includes:

• Patients, service users, carers, families and the public - adults and children
• Colleagues, foundation trust members and our council of governors
• Local government and parliamentarians
• Regional and national regulators
• Local, national and specialist media
• Partner organisations from right across the country

The work we do to support communities across Sussex is often out of sight - taking place in care homes, clinics, inpatient units, schools, surgeries or in people's homes.

Your challenge is to help make our contribution to the local health and care system more visible. Help our teams celebrate their successes and to help patients and the public to understand NHS community services better.

Our work is hugely varied and rewarding - no two days are the same. You will lead a team of four delivering major campaigns, projects and events.

You will manage a small but top quality team, advise colleagues at all levels of the organisation and be a visible, high-profile member of the wider leadership team.
