Grade - NHS AfC: Band 7

CBT Therapists / Clinical Health Psychologists / Counselling Psychologists 

We currently have exciting opportunities for experienced CBT Therapists, Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, committed to working psychologically with patients with long term health conditions. Working in Time to Talk Health, our innovative IAPT service, means you'll be treating people holistically and really setting the scene locally for parity of esteem.   As such Time to Talk Health is integrated within a number of physical healthcare pathways and these roles will suit those who enjoy working within physical healthcare teams alongside other professional groups in order to improve patient outcomes.  We're now in our second year so you'll have ample opportunity to contribute to our next steps as we develop our service.

 

We're looking for full or part time Band 7 experienced CBT Therapists / Clinical Health Psychologists / Counselling Psychologists to join our West Sussex team  within the coastal area (including Worthing, Chichester and Midhurst) and in the north of the county (including Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex).  

 

These roles will give you the opportunity to develop your experience of working with patients with a range of comorbid physical health problems and anxiety and/or depression, working with high and low intensity specialists in long term conditions. Every day is varied as you'll be working in different settings, supporting patients alongside our physical healthcare professional colleagues.  There's plenty of opportunity to use your consultation skills and present to various patient groups for which we'll provide you with all the support you need. 

 

For the right candidates these roles will provide excellent and varied experience and additional training if required. As part of the very high performing and successful Time to Talk IAPT service, you'll receive regular good-quality clinical supervision and support to develop joint working with various physical healthcare teams. Working in a variety of healthcare settings you'll need to be a car driver and willing to travel to different sites as required in West Sussex. There will be some evening work required.
