MEDICAL PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT B2 

Due to a promotion, there is now an opportunity for a Full Time Physiotherapy Assistant on the Medical Rehabilitation wards at Crawley Hospital. No previous healthcare experience is necessary at this entry grade, but an interest in the medical, orthopaedic and older patient group as well as an awareness of dementia would be beneficial. Once training and competencies are successfully completed, you will manage your own caseload of patients delivering prescribed exercise, mobility and transfer regimes as well as working alongside qualified staff. Physiotherapy Assistants are a vital and integral part of the Physiotherapy Team, delivering not only patient care and rehabilitation, but also supporting the team with administrative duties.

Candidates require excellent written and spoken English as well as excellent team working skills, adaptability and flexibility. There is a requirement for flexible working as the service may include weekend working in the future.

Applicant requirements This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
