Solution Architect - IT Permanent - based in Brighton

Digital Skills are working with an exciting industry-leading financial services provider. The client is looking for a solution architect to join an important support function within the company. This is a permanent role working from there Brighton offices. However, the role does offer a Flexible working arrangement with a few days working from home.

Job Duties include:

• To ensure IT solutions are fit for purpose and use while meeting the business requirements as set through constraints.
• Conduct assessments of new IT solution options though proof of concept and gap analysis. While assessing the cost and risk factors.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the business, from decision-makers to hands-on technical personnel.
• Provide input to solution plans and business functions.

• TOGAF or similar certification.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.
• A good understanding of Client Server, midrange and Mainframe computing technologies;
• Experience in designing and delivering high-value solutions.
• Experience and knowledge of the trends and regulations facing large finance firms.
• Ability to bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical people.

• Paying between £65000 - £70000 as an annual salary.
