A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our successful letting and property management company. We require a Lettings Co-Ordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who has excellent organisation and communication skills who has the desire to join an energetic and fast paced working environment. You will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of our lettings department ensuring that exceptional service is delivered to both our landlords and tenants.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact, taking calls from tenants and dealing with any queries
  • Responsibility for booking viewings/inspections for all negotiators as quickly as possible, ensuring that negotiators time is well used throughout the day and calling for updates after appointments
  • Taking the lead on writing property descriptions & updating our database and social media
  • Sending letters and emails on behalf of negotiators in a timely manner
  • Sending and chasing for references
  • Accurately registering applicant’s details on database
  • Taking payments over the telephone or in the office
  • Keeping records of available properties and actively communicating any changes with the department throughout the day
  • Managing and preparing all documentation for new tenants ahead of their move in date and for end of tenancies
  • Adhoc tasks as needed such as cutting keys or ordering ‘To Let’ boards
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary to assist the team

Skills required:

  • Ability to work under pressure with a degree of flexibility
  • To be able to take control of workload and prioritise effectively
  • The confidence to liaise with clients and tenants via phone, email and letter
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – good communication between departments is a must to ensure the smooth running of the business
  • Good organisation and IT skills
