What will your working week be like?

As part of their growing success, our client has an immediate vacancy for an exceptional candidate to assist in providing support to their valued customers.

The job will be primarily based in their vibrant office on the edge of Brighton (moving soon to a more modern location in a brand-new office!), however the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on Clientele sites. The role will include out of hours support and you’ll be provided with the best in breed tools in order to achieve this.

The three main focus points for the role are:

  • Centralised technical support for field engineers (providing technical support for incidents and problems, prestaging, configuration of cloud elements etc.)
  • Owning the resolution of all tickets passing through the support desk (though not necessarily personally resolving them)
  • Owning local support processes (DB management, spares holdings, lab builds, escalations etc.)

The candidate should ideally have experience working within Cisco, the Cisco channel or a challenging support role within a Cisco environment. Having the following would be highly advantageous but is definitely not essential, VMware ESXi or Hyper-V.
