Background to the Post
When learners apply to Worthing College we screen them for Additional Support needs and where appropriate we undertake extensive detailed assessment in order to agree the type and level of learning support required.
The Student Advice and Support team provides this support, working within and outside of mainstream classes. The majority of additionally supported students have literacy or handwriting difficulties although we also help people with social communication difficulties or who present with a range of personal problems.
