Job Details

Sessional hours - approx. 3 hours per week - Tuesdays 10.00 am - 1.30 pm

w/c 23/4/19 - w/e 8/6/19

We require a sessional Business lecturer with a professional knowledge of Law to teach on our Foundation degree in Business; Law module.  Topics include Consumer Law, Law of Agency, Business structure and Tort Law.  Students will be using this teaching to apply law to a variety of situations in the examination and assessment.  You will be responsible for the delivery of teaching and marking for this module.

You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one).  You also require experience working within a Business Law environment and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of HE students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
