My client is a market leading specialist vehicle manufacturer. Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for them to recruit an additional Quality Engineer into their in-house QHSE Team, initially for 6 months. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are expanding to meet the sustained increase in projects they are experiencing.

Reporting into the QHSE Manager, the Quality Engineer will be ensuring that products meet customer requirements whilst conforming to all relevant standards and regulations including ISO19001 and ISO14001. You will be responsible for conducting audits and reporting on the multiple departments within the business, and involvement in the approval of new suppliers. As a Quality Engineer, you will provide support and advice across the business aimed at improving performance and reducing instances of products failing to conform. The successful candidate will also ensure that all projects have an appropriate Quality plan in place.

Applications are invited from Quality Engineers, Auditors, and Technicians who either hold a relevant engineering qualification or have relevant experience. Those who have previously worked within a low volume manufacturing environment (i.e. automotive, aerospace, OEM) are of particular interest, but this not essential.

This role may involve a small amount of both domestic and overseas travel to visit customers and suppliers for meetings on occasions, so a driving licence and passport are highly desirable.
