Fundraising Assistant

37.5 hours per week – 9 Months Fixed Term.

This term may increase to 12 months TBC (Maternity Cover)

Martlets are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to assist in their development and delivery of fundraising activities. Working across several Income Generation teams you will support a variation of functions to maximise participation from the local community and help meet the teams income targets.

Main duties will include:

  • To support event planning and preparation alongside the events team
  • To use the CRM database (Donorflex) on a regular basis to track all event activity
  • To help with the recruitment, support and development of event/fundraising volunteers
  • To support the Marketing and Communications Team with the creation and distribution of event and fundraising literature
  • To act as a point of contact for community groups, fundraisers and supporters
  • To provide ad hoc support to the wider fundraising team on a variety of projects

Key Skills required:

  • Organised  and thorough
  • Confident in working with a CRM database
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work outside office hours as required, including weekends
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
