Part Time Financial Accountant

We're currently working with a rapidly expanding global business that can offer an evolving and dynamic company environment in which staff quickly develop and flourish. This PE backed business is undergoing significant positive changes currently, which is in turn creating great opportunities within the team, including this newly created role. This is a great prospect for someone looking to work closely with a qualified and experienced European Financial Controller on driving the business forward to the next phase.

You will be accustomed to working in an international business and be able to demonstrate sound multi-currency exposure. Foreign currency skills are key, alongside strong Excel and sound technical accounting skills.

The Financial Controller is open to candidates who are looking for flexible working and/or circa 4 days per week for this role. Their full time hours are Mon -Fri 9am-5pm but he's happy for start / finish times to be flexible if candidates have outside commitments, and also open to the prospect of part time in general.

Overview of duties -

• Reconciling intercompany accounts
• Inputting and reconciling company general ledgers
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting with financial reporting
• Assisting with the annual audits
• Ensuring financial compliance in line with GAAP and IFRS
• Ad hoc duties as required by the FC
• Helping to drive efficiencies and improvements across the finance function
