Job Title: Cook – Nights - Tesco Staff Restaurants
Elior UK - Tesco Division
Location: New Rd, Worthing BN13 3PB

Shift patterns: 12 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join our team on our Nightshifts. We are looking for people that are passionate about the food industry. Ideally you will be comfortable with basic cooking skills and have worked in the catering industry, but been friendly, approachable and having excellent customer service are what we value most.

As a Cook you will be responsible for greeting and serving customers in a professional, warm, friendly and genuine manner. Also responsible for preparing and serving a range of beverages and cafe foods in line with client requirements and Elior UK standards.

We’re renowned for our high standards of service and you’ll play a key role in upholding these as one of our catering assistants. We are looking for talented, trustworthy, reliable candidates.

We can be flexible with working hours, both full time and part time positions available.

Profile

As General Assistant for Elior you will be expected to:
• Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times
• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Operate the till point as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used
• Ensure all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
• Maintain client and Elior UK confidentiality and security at all times

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Previous catering experience preferred though not essential as a desire to learn is essential
