Why not come and join our supportive and friendly therapy team working in Inpatient Intermediate Care in East Sussex?

We have a part-time position available for a band 6 physiotherapist based at our Lewes inpatient facility. This post would suit an enthusiastic and innovative person, who is prepared to meet the changing needs of the population we serve and provide highly skilled care. Our caseloads are varying and challenging and you will use a range of skills to treat patients presenting with a variety of conditions, including falls, cardiac, respiratory, dementia, amputees and frail elderly.

We have 2 further inpatient facilities at Crowborough and Uckfield. Our teams work across the 3 sites to provide rehabilitation in order to support those patients unable to be discharged directly home from the acute hospital and also to prevent acute hospital admission. Each site has a team of experienced Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Support Workers, as well as supportive Team Leads.

This position would suit someone keen to step into a band 6 role with an interest in rehabilitation or intermediate care. You will have regular supervision and be encouraged to supervise staff and students as appropriate. Your contribution to shaping future clinical practice of the therapy team and on-going service development will be valued. There are training opportunities both locally and within the Trust, with all staff encouraged to be up-to-date and proactive with CPD.
