Southern Water is undertaking a major applications programme that requires Application Managers to devise and deliver the departments overall strategy in the short- and long-term future

Everyone joining the project at this stage is going to be integral to its success, which will be highly visible as one of the largest undertaken of its kind.

This is the largest IT transformation project ever undertaken by Southern Water and it’s going to transform the company across every aspect of the business.

The Applications Managers will be expected to liaise with the Strategy & Architecture, Service delivery and project delivery counterparts, to ensure that the applications are supported and projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Southern Water is continuing to move the business towards a fully agile environment and experience of working in an agile business of a similar size will add significant value, ideally having seen them evolve through the process.

Technical areas of interest:

• Asset management applications (Utilities experience would be highly desirable)
• Digital Integration – (Digital and Integration application technologies through various versions specially SW AG)
• Databases – Oracle DB / SQL Servers
• Experience in working in zero unplanned downtime environment

The Application Manager is going to be based in Worthing, commutable from Brighton, Portsmouth, Crawley, Southampton and surrounding areas, and is paying up to £76K + excellent benefits.
