Advanced Selection are delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Sales Account Manager to join a sales team based in East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Account Manager to join a successful and growing business who specialise within scientific based vacuum solutions. The successful Technical Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the following activities:
* Responsible for supporting Key Accounts in the UK and South East Europe.
* Focussed on expanding existing client base and ensuring internal CRM system is kept up to date
* Primary contact for distributors within the UK and Europe and first line support for handling enquiries
* Responsible for coordinating marketing activities with distributors & key accounts in the UK and South East Europe
* Attending conferences, workshops and seminars
* Responsible for development strategy and budget for South East Europe
* Required to travel to South East Europe around 20% of your time and 80% will be spent office based
The successful Technical Sales Account Manager will have the following skills and experience:
* At least 2 year’s experience within a technical sales role from one of the following sectors: Valves/Gauges/Vacuum systems/control systems/chillers/semi-conductors/medical devices/radioactivity/technical science or extensive experience within the scientific vacuum industry
* Excellent IT skills inkling MS work and other MS applications
* Customer driven – focussed on providing excellent service
* Strong organisational skills, manage and prioritise workload with excellent attention to detail
* Minimum Degree level educated from a related subject - Science or Engineering
* High level of written communication and presentation skills, ability to prepare, review and edit correspondence and reports
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
This position is offering a basic salary of £35k – 45k depending upon experience with OTE in the region of £45k - £55k together with additional benefits including 28 days holiday, private healthcare, pension, free parking. Please call for more information or apply today for initial interviews
