We’re looking for a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a Nursery in East Grinstead, so if this role catches your eye then please keep reading!

This Nursery is well established and has been running for more than 15 years. They have a team of experienced, trained staff to support children in their first few years of education. There are 4 groups within the Nursery which are based on age and have set curriculums that they follow to prepare children for moving onto Primary School. In their latest Ofsted inspection the Nursery was rated ‘Good’ with the report stating “The managers are actively involved in the Nursery and are eager to provide a high-quality provision… Children and staff play happily together in a very inclusive, inviting environment… The key persons know when children are ready to move on and support them well.”

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting children to learn during day-to-day activities
• Helping the Room Leader to set up and deliver creative lessons
• Assisting with basic first aid where required

Requirements:
Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.
Essential:
• 2 references for the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare
• Experience working in a Nursery
Desired:
• An up-to-date DBS on the update service
• A job history for the last 10 years
