Southern Housing Group is looking to recruit a Leadership Development Consultant to join our team in Horsham.

In return for your hard work as our Leadership Development Consultant, you will receive a salary of circa £42,000 per annum. You will also receive benefits including:

Who are we looking for?

The successful Leadership Development Consultant will have experience at designing, delivering and evaluating leadership and OD activities. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to concisely deliver key messages. You will also have:

- Knowledge of leadership development and OD best practice
- Knowledge of Talent Development programs (succession, employee engagement, D&I) team development, and change management
- Ability to draw on industry, business, and technical knowledge in people dynamics to provide excellent services to employees and managers
- Ability to coach and train staff to achieve change and improved outcomes and outputs, encouraging individuals to stretch beyond their current capabilities
- Have a results orientated, focused approach on developing creative solutions to complex issues
- Ability to produce and analyse data and make appropriate recommendations

What will I be doing?

This is new exciting role in our Learning & Development Team and as part of the role you will be working with the Learning and Development Manager, to design, develop, deliver and evaluate organisational development programmes which include leadership and management, coaching and mentoring, change management, and succession planning; meeting business objectives and reflecting industry best practice. Key Leadership Development Consultant responsibilities include:

- Recruit, lead, and provide direction to the Leadership Development Advisor to support service excellence
- Consult and collaborate with HR and stakeholders to diagnose organisational, operational and performance based issues and opportunities
- Recommend and implement interventions to support changing business needs and associated engagement
- Coach leaders on specific areas of growth and development via a range of coaching models
- Facilitate team development activities including, assessments, workshops, and leader assimilation
- Lead on our current apprenticeship programme
- Lead on designing and delivering a new graduate development programme
- Implement succession planning programs with the business and ensures continuity of development of identified "hi-potentials" and future leaders
- Consult and advise the business on change management solutions and activities
