Chailey Clinical is recognised for providing a tertiary level service to some of the most profoundly disabled children, young people and adults with complex neuro-disability and associated health needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and highly experienced Clinical Specialist and Professional Lead, in Occupational Therapy to join the Therapy team at Chailey Clinical Services.

The primary focus of this role is to provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership to the Occupational Therapy team at Chailey Clinical Services, and line management to the Occupational therapy team, in conjunction with Chailey Therapy Locality Manager. You would work in partnership with the Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy Team Leads, in order to develop and sustain best practice standards within Chailey Clinical Services.

The post-holder will undertake a clinical specialist role within the Occupational Therapy department at Chailey Clinical Services and will act in an expert clinical specialist and advisory capacity on issues relating to quality and safety in clinical practice across Chailey Clinical Services. Clinical specialisms will be within highly complex neuro-disability in children and young people and specialisms could include postural management, assistive technology, upper limb function, sensory assessment and intervention and/or acquired brain injury.
