The only CQC rated Outstanding Care service supporting adults with learning disabilities in West Sussex requires a Full Time Community based Senior Support Worker and Deputy Team Leader.

Average pay £17, 250 - £20,511 FTE up to £25,725 inc sleep ins plus additional staff benefits.

Egalite is a family-based company with an excellent reputation for providing very high quality person centred support and is rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC 2016). Two years on we remain the only outstanding service in the area. We have won many awards for the quality of the care our team provide over recent years. In June 2018 we were finalists in the National LD Awards too as recognition of our teams dedication and commitment.

To enable us to continue to offer our great services, we are looking for new team members to help fulfil the need for more great carers and for our team to have the experienced colleagues who are there to guide and coach others who are new to the role or learning.

The Senior Support Workers and Deputy Team Leader will work alongside staff to provide care, be a good role model to others, to guide and support the team and to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities. Your role will also include supervision of team members, liaising with family members and working in partnership with the senior management team.

You will need to hold a NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

As we are looking for specific support for our female clients who have requested female carers these two positions are for female applicants only. However, we are recruiting for a third Senior Support Worker and this position is open to male applicants as well as female.

So, if you are positive, energetic, dedicated to making a real difference to the life experiences of others and looking for a new challenge, then we'd like to hear from you.

A full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for use at work will be essential for the role.

In return you can expect a great rate of pay, training, interesting and rewarding work, pension, childcare vouchers, staff discount scheme through ‘Perkbox’, flexible working times, and opportunities for career development.
