Internal Communications Coordinator
St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices:
St Barnabas House provides palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including In-patient Care, Day Hospice and Community Care.
Chestnut Tree House is the children's hospice reaching across Sussex and South East Hampshire. Providing care and support for children/young people and their families with life-shortening conditions.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
37.5 hours per week (part-time of 30 hrs and above will be considered)
Salary £23,270 - £25,780 (or pro rata for part-time) depending on experience
Based at St Barnabas House, Worthing, with travel to our other sites
We have a new opportunity for an experienced communications and marketing professional to plan and deliver great internal communications to staff and volunteers of St Barnabas House adult hospice and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
Working closely with the HR Director and Head of Communications, you will compile, write and disseminate messages and information around the hospices’ new strategies for an internal audience at the hospices, shops and other sites, including the production of regular bulletins. You will also provide marketing support to the HR, Voluntary Services and Education Teams, develop and launch the organisation’s intranet and manage internal communications around special projects.
Proven experience of internal communications and marketing is essential, including managing projects from start to finish on time and on budget. You must have excellent communication, copywriting, proofreading and design skills and the ability to work across teams, negotiate, solve problems and use your initiative.
A driving licence and access to a car is essential for this post.
